Deep Blue/Green Sapphire 1.22cts Unheated

The sapphire is a round faceted stone that weighs 1.22 carats and measures 6.7mm and is from Anakie in central Queensland. It was found by a husband and wife team, who also had it cut and faceted at the gem fields! This unheated and rare beauty is a perfect addition to your precious stone collection. Most gemstones are heat treated to improve their appearance, so an unheated sapphire is a rare finding indeed. There is natural colour banding viewed through the back facets.
