Lapis Lazuli Ring in Sterling Silver

A striking sterling silver handmade bezel set ring set with a 12x10mm rectangular cut pyramid shape, deep cobalt blue lapis lazuli . The ring size is N.5 US 6 3/4, & the band width is 5mm.  The ring weighs 9.7 grams.    

Lapis Lazuli is a blue rock containing lazurite and other minerals. The colour varies, but it is the intense dark blue with minor patches of pyrite (gold flecks), that is considered to be the best quality. Hardness 5.5 on the Mohs scale of hardness.
