South Sea Pearl And Diamond Ring In 18k Gold

A pretty 18ct yellow gold 10.5-11mm light gold South Sea pearl ring which has two round brilliant cut diamonds set in the band on either side. There are an additional 8 round brilliant cut diamonds set into the sides of the band amongst a bead effect that weigh 0.08 in total. The ring size is an "O" US 7.  Made in Australia.

South Sea pearls are known worldwide for their natural colours of silvery white and gold plus their extremely large sizes. It can take up to five years to produce a single South Sea pearl. They are grown/cultured in the Pinctada Maxima oyster in saltwater around Broome and Darwin where they can have six meter tides, ideal for growing these large oysters!
