Nestled within this enchanting pearl is a pave diamond setting that glistens with unparalleled brilliance .This 18K white gold ring is set  with a beautiful 10mm to 10.5mm Tahitian pearl. The pearl has a lovely purple/pink and green lustre and is set into a band surrounded by a swirl of bead set round brilliant cut diamonds. The diamonds weigh approximately 0.05 carat in total. Ring size N (US 6 1/2), and weighs 6.6 grams.  Made in Australia.

Tahitian pearls come in a range of colours from white to black. They can contain various undertones and overtones of green, pink, blue, silver and yellow and pick up their colour from the lip of the black lipped  Pinctada margaritifera oyster. The most valuable of these are of the darker variety, as the naturally dark tones of the Tahitian pearl is a unique quality. The peacock colour is the most sought after!
